Within a team of Systems Engineers, you will design, develop, support, and maintain the organization's hosted systems infrastructure. You will develop, modify, test, and maintain the systems and make updates to system-related installation documentation. This role serves as a point of escalation for System Administration team for outages, issues and or change management support. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The Systems Engineer contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.

You might be a great fit if you have experience with:

  • Proficiency in Citrix/RDS required
  • Upgrades (technical currency) and or configuration changes to exiting client environments, as well as new implementation, migration, or consolidation steady state support for new clients.
  • IaaS platforms, Azure and AWS
  • Productivity workload deployments (M365), MDM solutions (Intune), RDS + AVD environments, Hypervisor environment management (VMware and Hyper-V).
  • Disaster recovery and Business Continuity services / solutions (Barracuda, Microsoft Azure Recovery Services, and Commvault).
  • Notification Operations Center solutions experience (configuration of RMM services, N-Able. RMM, Dynatrace, etc.).
  • Data Management & Data Security: Implementation and configuration of Data Management Solutions (storage solutions), such as NetApp, TruStorage, Nimble, or AWS cloud storage. Multiple environments are in need review assessments and or updates / upgrades for clients. Data Security implementations for clients utilizing M365 E5 licenses (tools and policies for Data Loss Prevention and Data Classification, and Defender).
  • Documentation: Service Designs, SOP’s, and Architectural reviews with the System Administration team to facilitate proper hand off operational service(s).
  • Change Management: Creation of standards and normal changes utilized by System Engineers (facilitation of best practices for Change Management).

Education / Experience / Knowledge:

  • 2-year degree, preferably in Information systems, CIS or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 2-3 years applied knowledge and experience with configuration of virtualization infrastructure, Citrix/RDS, cloud IaaS, PaaS or SaaS services (AWS and or Azure).

Certifications Preferred: Azure Administrator (Associate - 104), Azure Solutions Architect (Fundamentals), AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C02)

FLSA Category - Exempt, full-time

Supervisory Responsibility – No

Location – Remote

Other Expectations – 24x7 on-call support rotation

Pay: $56,000 -$93,000 per year
